The narcissist might only be intimidated by the quiet and silent types. The silent observer type who thinks before speaking and observes everything first then reacts.
This type usually stays calm and collected during any chaotic situation thus immune to the manipulation caused by the narcissist’s drama.
Someone who questions the narcissist’s gaslighting behaviours. Rather than being sucked into the narcissist’s toxic cycle, this person strategically deals with it. This person is the one who remains unbothered and keeps a safe distance from the narcissist.
All of these threaten and terrorize the narcissist. For this reason, narcissists are intimidated by the silent observer type.
