Don’t Fall For This Childish Trap?
Well insecure and narcissistic people play this kind of game in online communication. They would initiate a conversation or message you first. Then when you reply to them, they will ignore your messages.
The main reasons the narcissistic and insecure people behave this way because:
- They needed some sort of external validation, so when you reply, you provide that validation
- They like to have control over people and situations, so by ignoring your messages, they want to show you that they are the ones in control.
- They just wanted to see whether you take their bait or not means whether you reply to their message or not.
People who prefer healthy communication like normal people don’t indulge in this kind of childish behavior.
So what’s the best approach to deal with this kind of scenario?
If you are not involved in any professional relationship, then don’t even bother to engage in any conversation with this person. If possible, delete them. Your time is valuable my dear.
