Psychopathy is one type of personality disorder, and it is defined by characteristics such as superficial charm, lack of compassion, and a deceitful nature. Aside from these, psychopaths are very good at integrating themselves into society, which makes it harder to identify them.

“A psychopath can tell what you’re thinking but what they don’t do is feel what you feel. These are people without a conscience.” ―Robert D. Hare

Some of the Main Characteristics of Psychopaths:

i) Showing no empathy: Psychopaths are incapable of empathizing with others.

ii) Shallow nature: They have a captivating and charismatic nature that is superficial, and this helps them deceive other people.

iii) Pathological lying: They lie constantly, and most of the time they do it without regret.

iv) Deceptive personality: They often exploit others for their benefit and ignore the well-being of other people.
