If you are dying to take revenge on the narcissist in your life, then try these subtle ways:

1) Remove their position of power

For instance, when narcissists are in charge of any situation they feel in control and powerful. They desperately crave external validation and despise authority figures as they are the ones who give them the validation they crave.

So, next time, when you are interacting with the narcissist, make sure to portray yourself assertively with a calm demeanor. Don’t lose your composure, and stand up for yourself.

While dealing with a narcissist in a group setting, try to position yourself in a leadership role or planner of other activities. The narcissist will be intimidated and unsettled by your position.

2) Practice Saying “No”

As narcissists always want things according to their way and don’t care about other people’s availability, thus, you have to stand up for yourself and decline their requests. And if you are a people pleaser then practice saying “no”.
